Discovering New Horizons for Optimizing Caregiver Well-Being Through Neuroscience: A Paradigm Shift.
Raising Ona's Future Has Arrived
Well, what I have to say about the future of Raising Ona fills me with joy. When I first decided to share Ona's story on social media, I wanted to learn and show how a comprehensive strategy for improving cognitive function may help children who have had brain damage, such as cerebral palsy, not just survive but flourish.
While I was dedicatedly sharing this journey with the world, I started getting a lot of questions from moms who were looking for more than just a glimpse into my own personal journey. A good number of them discovered that they were in the dark.
The large number of questions revealed a harsh truth: there is a big hole in the care world for kids with brain damage. Caregivers have to navigate a path of loneliness and uncertainty because their community is frequently stereotyped, patronized, and ignored. This realization sparked a renewed sense of purpose in me. It goes beyond just sharing the inspiring story of my daughter Ona and her journey with cerebral palsy.
Motivated by a heightened sense of calling, I dove into the fascinating field of brain science and eventually earned a master's degree in Neuroscience.
I set out to learn more about the ways in which the brain and body are intertwined, ultimately revealing methods by which caregivers' physical and mental health might be improved. We've broadened our scope to include not just those with brain injuries, but those who care for them, as well as the neurodiverse community.
Our journey has been one of continuous growth and learning. What began as a mission solely dedicated to those with brain injuries has now transformed into a more comprehensive perspective, one that embraces and supports the caregivers in our community. This shift is profound, as it sets in motion a ripple effect that can touch innumerable lives.

In this new wave, I've created NeuroWell Care, a platform that aims to demystify cutting-edge research and make biohacking actually applicable to caregivers' daily lives, especially those who look after people with brain injuries like cerebral palsy. Our approach strengthens the alchemical interplay between the BRAIN and BODY cultivating flourishing from within.
I understand that change can be challenging, I have been there, especially when our daily experiences continually reaffirm that, as caregivers of individuals with brain injuries, change may not be within our grasp.
Think of this change, though, as a rite of passage. One that can guide you from the shadow of helplessness to an unfamiliar yet reassuring place. This is the place where you will find the appropriate tools and come to the realization that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
Moving forward, will not only provide scientific information about insights on brain injuries, lifestyles, and more. While these topics will remain a part of our focus, I'm equally devoted to equipping caregivers with valuable insights on how to resolve well-being challenges with neurobiology insights. My intention is to provide the tools needed to form a deep connection with the person who holds the key to being your most important teacher: yourself.
If you are curious about the course of this voyage, I cordially invite you to stay on board. Please be patient with me as I continue to learn and consider options that may be outside the tried-and-true framework we've been using. It's going to be worth it.
This voyage promises unparalleled development and peace of mind. Collectively, we shall embark upon an exploration of the intricate domain of neuroscience, with the purpose of employing biohacking techniques to uncover the resolutions we have long pursued.
Let's continue to evolve, expand, and amplify our voices.
